Your First Visit to Our Winnipeg Chiropractic Office
When you arrive at our office you will be greeted warmly. Our first priority is to help you have a comfortable experience.
Next you will receive a thorough orthopedic, neurological, postural and spinal examination. This will determine any abnormal alignment and motion patterns that could be harming your central and peripheral nervous systems and subsequent organ function.
If you have x-rays or MRI/CT reports, please bring them along. Depending on the results of these preliminary tests, Dr. Elahiyoun may recommend x-rays be taken.
A review of your history and examination results are necessary to make the best recommendations and ensure you are given the best care.
Plan on approximately 1 hour for your first visit.

Your Second Visit to Our Office
Your Doctor’s Report
Your second visit is very important! We will give a detailed overview of how reconstructive or structural chiropractic works. This initial part will review your examination findings, giving you a description of what is going on and then through detailed recommendations for a plan of care suitable for your specific needs as well as the financial investment required. At that point you will decide how you would like to proceed and you’ll receive your first adjustment at the end of your report.
For many, the moments leading up to the first adjustment are scary but almost invariably everyone walks away with a feeling of relief…relieved that the adjustment was “no big deal” and relieved that their health is on the mend.
Regular Visits
After the investment of time needed on the first and second visits, many patients become concerned that every visit will be of equal length.
In a word: no. A typical visit may require just a few, highly-focused, minutes.
But don’t think the brevity of a regular visit lessens its value! With the groundwork laid, we can quickly size up what your spine and nervous system, adjust you and get you on your way. Our success as Chiropractors is built on producing highly satisfied patients!
